Vandaag hebben de BLOSSOMS hun gloednieuwe singel uitgebracht. Het nummer heet ‘Perfect me’, dat geregisseerd is door James Slater (Sam Fender, Jamie T, Yard Act). ‘Perfect me’ is de opvolger van recente singels als “Gary” en “What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?” die op BBC Radio 1 veel aandacht kregen. Frontman Tom Ogden zegt: “‘Perfect Me wasn’t done in the normal way we make songs. Normally I write the song at home and then bring it to the lads. We just made this one from nothing. We had a synth sequence and built it up from scratch in the studio. The spontaneity of it resulted in it having a lot of energy. It’s about this perfect being that doesn’t exist.”
Blossoms staan in het voorprogramma van Tom Grennan in Gunnersbury Park op 10 augustus, gevolgd door de grootste headline-optreden van de band tot nu toe in Wythenshawe Park, Manchester op zondag 25 augustus.
