In april bracht Perrie haar eerste solosingel ‘Forget About Us’ uit. Nu is er de opvolger ‘Tears’. Dat is BBC Radio 1 niet ontgaan, want daar is Perrie uitgeroepen met ‘Tears’ tot Tune of the Week! Over de ‘Motown influenced, smooth and sultry track’ vertelt ze: “This song is about coming out of a bad situation and letting go of what has happened in the past.” Van 2011 tot 2022 maakte Perrie deel uit van de groep Little Mix, waarmee ze bijna 30 miljard streams op haar naam heeft staan. Op dit moment werkt ze aan haar debuutalbum.
